Duke Nukem Forever (Future)

I chose this game to talk about because it is a game that SHOULD get an Adult Only rating, but is instead given a Ma 17+. Also the game is very unique compared to many games today. How often do you see a game character on a quest to save more then one woman? This game also seems like it will have a mix of the old and the new. By old and new I mean gameplay mechanics might be a mix of older and newer styles.

Wow, video games have come a long way from the Pac man days. The graphics in this game are very life like. It is a bit pornographic, and I agree it should have a stronger rating due to this as well as the foul language.
ReplyDeleteI can't belive duke nukem is back! I use to play that game when I was younger. From the older version to this one the graphics are alot better and alot more better qualities. I agree that the rating should be for mature audience.
ReplyDeleteThis game is super violent, but hey, no one cares about violence anymore. Practically anything goes if you hadn’t noticed. I will admit that it looks sweet though, and that I do like violent games. I try not to get too involved since I have more important things to do like do school work and have a life, but sometimes when you are feeling pissed or need to get some of that testosterone off, you just need to shoot the crap out of things. So I completely understand, but I do think that too many parents are lenient on what they let their kids watch and play. When kids are too young to play these games, they don’t know the difference between right and wrong, and get way mixed up early on.
ReplyDeleteThis game looks like a movie. The graphics are amazing. Since there is so much violence and cursing involved, it should definitely get an adult rating. There are some kids who sadly are allowed to play games like these. I know I wouldn't let my kid play them.

The graphics for this game are amazing. I never played Duke Nukem and I do not play any video games now but I can see that this is going to be a good game. It almost looks like a movie. And I do agree that it should have a higher rating due to the violence, language, and nudity.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of Duke Nukem and the only video game I ever played was Pac Man. I agree with that this game should not be played by children and it should have an adult rating. I have nothing against video games, but I think that their should be parental guidance when it comes to young children being exposed to these types of games.
